Midland Hope International is a non-profit humanitarian organization
Access to food is a human right, not a privilege.
At Midland Hope International, we are dedicated to restoring dignity, stability, and opportunity for vulnerable communities across Jamaica and the Caribbean.
Our Mission
Food Security & Nutrition
Access to food is a human right, not a privilege.
Our Food Assistance Programme provides nutritious meals and emergency food supplies to families, children, and the elderly affected by poverty, natural disasters, and economic hardship.
We partner with local farmers, food producers, and volunteers to create a sustainable food network, ensuring that vulnerable households have consistent access to essentials.
During times of crisis — such as hurricanes or droughts — our emergency relief teams mobilize quickly to distribute food parcels and bottled water in affected communities.
Midland Hope International (MHI) is dedicated to enhancing financial inclusion through secure and efficient digital payment solutions, bridging the gap between North American and Caribbean markets.
M.H.I provides timely, transparent, and effective humanitarian support, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most, while maintaining strict accountability for all funds and resources.
Shelter & Emergency Relief
In the aftermath of natural disasters and displacement, safe shelter becomes a lifeline.
Midland Hope International works to provide temporary housing, rebuilding assistance, and essential supplies for those who have lost their homes.
Key notes
Our Shelter Recovery Initiative focuses on:
- Rapid response during emergencies (food, water, shelter supplies).
- Long-term rebuilding projects to help families restore stability.
- Collaborations with construction and logistics partners to ensure durable, cost-effective housing solutions.
We believe that rebuilding homes is also about rebuilding lives — offering both physical and emotional support to families starting over.
Education & Community Empowerment
Education transforms futures.
Through our Community Education Programme, we provide access to school supplies, digital learning tools, scholarships, and mentorship for children and young adults in underserved areas.
Our goal is to help the next generation gain the knowledge and confidence needed to lead, innovate, and contribute to their communities.
We also offer adult training initiatives focused on financial literacy, small business development, and vocational skills — creating opportunities for long-term self-reliance.
